The Hitec Deluxe Ball Bearing HD Resin HS-488HB Gear 25T Analog Sport Servo is an advanced servo model that enhances the capabilities of its predecessors by delivering increased torque and speed. It is equipped with a top ball bearing and heavy-duty, high-impact Karbonite™ gears, ensuring durability and high performance. This servo is designed to provide excellent centering and resolution, making it suitable for use in helicopters and aircraft up to 72 inches or weighing up to 12 pounds when utilizing a single servo per control surface.

The servo features a 25-tooth output spline and is recognized for its heavy-duty standard performance. Its high-impact Karbonite gears contribute to its robust construction, while the top ball bearings enhance its operational efficiency. The servo’s design ensures precise control and stability, which are critical for demanding applications in model aviation.

Note: Avoid using thread lockers on Karbonite geared servos as it may lead to output shaft failure. Additionally, for high vibration gas engines with large control surfaces and throws, metal geared servos are recommended to prevent undue strain on the gears.
