The Sherline WW & 10mm Collet Pot Chuck is engineered to accommodate larger and irregularly shaped components, offering a versatile solution for machining tasks that exceed the capacity of standard WW collets. This innovative tool includes a 1/8″ (3.17mm) dowel pin, which assists in securing the collet face and pin during the machining process. The collet face is drilled to a depth of 3/16″ or less, allowing for precise boring to create a custom chuck tailored to specific requirements. This design ensures that parts too large for conventional collets can be securely held.

The pot chuck is intended for use with a WW collet adapter and drawbar, providing a reliable and adaptable setup for various machining applications. It is important to note that the pot collet is specifically designed to grip material only at the face end, with a maximum gripping depth of 3/16″ (4.8mm). This feature makes it ideal for tasks requiring a secure hold on the face of the material without extending through the collet.
