The Pololu A4990 Dual Motor Driver Carrier facilitates the use of Allegro’s A4990 dual motor driver, enabling bidirectional control of two DC motors within a voltage range of 6 V to 32 V. It delivers a continuous current of 0.7 A per motor channel, with onboard sense resistors limiting peak current to approximately 0.9 A per channel.

The driver incorporates robust protection features, including reverse-voltage, under-voltage, over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature safeguards, making it suitable for small, low-current motors operating at high voltages.

Note: This product can become hot enough to cause burns; handle with care.
