The Waveshare RM502Q-AE 5G HAT for Raspberry Pi, Quad Antennas LTE-A, Multi Band, 5G/4G/3G (US) is a versatile module designed to enhance connectivity for Raspberry Pi and other compatible devices. It integrates extensive network protocols and supports multiple operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Android. This HAT features a USB 3.1 port, which is also compatible with USB 2.0, allowing for high-speed 5G communication when connected to a PC, Raspberry Pi, or Jetson Nano host board.

Equipped with a standard M.2 B KEY slot, the module is compatible with various 5G modules, including the RM500U-CNV, RM500Q-GL, RM500Q-AE, and RM502Q-AE series. It includes onboard UART, PWR, and RST control pins, as well as a built-in voltage level translator, which can be enabled via a DIP switch for use with hosts like Raspberry Pi or Arduino. The onboard USB-C connector allows for a standalone power supply, providing a stable and flexible power source.

The module features a power supply on/off switch, a reset button, and an LED indicator for easy monitoring and control. It supports dual SIM card slots with single standby, switchable via AT command, and offers a high-efficiency power supply circuit with up to 3A output current. The HAT supports 5G NSA and SA networking, as well as 4G and 3G internet connectivity.

Additionally, the module supports multi-constellation high-precision GNSS, including GPS, Beidou, Glonass, and Galileo. It is compatible with the standard Raspberry Pi 40PIN GPIO header and features a stackable design for additional HATs. A high-speed cooling fan is included to ensure efficient heat dissipation for both the Raspberry Pi and the 5G module. This product is suitable for various applications, such as 5G wireless routers and 5G live streaming.
