The Waveshare SIM8262A-M2 5G HAT for Raspberry Pi, Quad Antennas 5G NSA, Multi-Band, 5G/4G/3G Compatible (w/ Case) is a versatile module designed to enhance the connectivity capabilities of Raspberry Pi devices. It supports both 5G NSA and SA networking, as well as GNSS positioning, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Built on a Qualcomm platform, this module is compatible with multiple modes and bands, and it features multi-constellation dual-band positioning systems including GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, and QZSS.

This module is compatible with various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Android, and it connects via a USB 3.1 port, which is also compatible with USB 2.0. It includes a standard M.2 B KEY slot, allowing compatibility with different 5G modules, and settings can be adjusted using DIP switches. The module is equipped with onboard UART, PWR, and RST control pins, and a built-in voltage level translator, which can be enabled via DIP switch for use with hosts like Raspberry Pi or Arduino.

The module features an onboard USB-C connector for connecting a standalone power supply, providing a stable and flexible power source.
