The Solarbotics Marble Machine is now battery powered. This kit has splendid electromechanical appeal, delivering 8 steel balls down a laser-cut wood frame. Unlike its solar-powered cousin, it’s ready to run at your command.

  • 1 x Set of wooden parts
  • 1x GM9 Motor with battery pack
  • 2x #4×1/2″ Screw
  • 8x 3/8″ Marble

  • The battery pack provides hours of power to rotate the gear wheel that brings the marbles up to the top of the spiral
  • Precision laser-cut fiberboard frame
  • 2 x AAA batteries required (not included)
  • 1 hour build time

The assembly is very straightforward, but you’ll still need the following items (which are not included):

  • Philips #1 screwdriver
  • Wood or white glue
  • Tweezers (optional)
  • Small file or sandpaper (optional)
