The Rover Robotics 4WD Pro Mobile Robotics Platform accelerates your projects with a rugged, open source robot platform that has been proven in the field with thousands of public safety deployments. The 4WD rover excels at outdoor use; it can reach speeds up to 8mph and has a range of 8 miles. Additionally, it is possible to add additional electronics and accessories such as cameras, lidar, and a charging dock.

The Rover Basic SDK provides motor control, data feedback, charging and power distribution via UART serial interface. It uses a standard milspec battery BB2590 (up to 19.8 Ah). It is easy to build custom payloads and software for the robot. Internal charging circuitry makes it possible to add a charging dock for automatic charging, eliminating the need to ever remove the battery for charging.

The Rover Pro is IP67 rated, making it perfect for applications involving wet or dirty operating conditions. With a chassis designed to take a beating, the Rover Pro is an extremely rugged and capable mobile robotics platform.
