The Dagu Robot Speed Mesure Photoelectric Sensor Module is a photoelectric sensor and a phototransistor on both sides of the U-groove.

The on-state of the receiver determines whether the module outputs a high level or a low level. Then the speed of the motor can be inferred by the number of times the level changes in a certain period of time. This module is widely used in motor speed detection, pulse counting, position limit, and so on.
