The Devantech Dmx-USB-Rx-Rly8 – 8 Ssr is a sophisticated device designed to meet the latest USITT DMX512-A standard while maintaining compatibility with the older USITT DMX512/1990 standard. It offers user-friendly configuration through a USB port, eliminating the need for dip switches, and includes a PC application for seamless setup. The module can be assigned any DMX address ranging from 1 to 505, providing flexibility in various applications. It operates on either a single isolated 9V AC supply, necessary for dimming functions, or a 12V DC supply for simple on/off operations.
Equipped with solid-state relays, the device supports phase-controlled dimming for voltages between 48VAC and 250VAC, with a minimum load of 100mA and a maximum load of 5 Amps. The DMX feed-through is available on all pins, including pins 4 and 5, and the device features selectable 120 Ohm termination for enhanced signal integrity.
