  • Long-range LoRa tech
  • Easy I2C control

The Docker Pi IoT Node(A) w/ GPS, BDS, GSM, & LoRa Compatibility for Raspberry Pi is a versatile module designed to enhance connectivity and communication for compatible devices. This module integrates GPS/BDS for positioning, GSM for cellular communication, and LoRa for long-range, low-power wireless communication. It is easily controlled via I2C, allowing for straightforward data transmission and reception, as well as control over the GSM/GPS/BDS functionalities.

The GPRS section of the IoT Node(A) is optimized for low power consumption, with a standby sleep current of less than 1 mA. It supports GSM/GPRS quad-band frequencies and offers a GPRS Class 10 connection. The data service capabilities include a maximum download rate of 85.6 Kbps and an upload rate of 42.8 Kbps. Additionally, it is compatible with standard GSM07.07.05 AT commands and can be accessed via a serial port through an I2C interface conversion.

For positioning, the GPS section supports BDS/GPS joint positioning and assists with A-GPS and A-BDS. It is also designed to accommodate a standard SIM card. The LORA section boasts a city working condition transmission distance of 500 meters, with a minimum guaranteed transmission of 300 meters under all conditions. It supports various modulation methods including FSK, GFSK, MSK, GMSK, LoRaTM, and OOK, and features ultra-high receiver sensitivity as low as -141 dBm. Additionally, it includes a packet engine with CRC supporting up to 256 bytes and a LORA transceiver indicator.

The IoT Node(A) is part of the DockerPi Series and is programmable, allowing for direct control without the need for additional programming. It extends the GPIO pins and is compatible with other stack boards. Importantly, it operates independently of the mainboard hardware, requiring only I2C support.

Please note that the IoT Node(A) should be handled with care, and installation should be performed according to the instructions provided to ensure proper functionality and safety.
