The Dragino RS485 UART to NB-IoT Converter Device is a sophisticated piece of technology designed to facilitate Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. This device allows for the connection of RS485 or UART sensors to the RS485-NB converter. Once connected, the RS485-NB can be configured to periodically read sensor data and upload it via the NB-IoT network to an IoT server.

The device is capable of interfacing with RS485 sensors, 3.3v/5v UART sensors, or interrupt sensors. It provides a 3.3v output and a 5v output to power external sensors, with both output voltages being controllable to optimize the total system power consumption.

The Dragino RS485 UART to NB-IoT Converter Device supports a variety of uplink methods, including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP & TCP, to cater to different application requirements. It is also capable of uplinking to various IoT servers. The device is equipped with BLE configure and OTA update capabilities.

Powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, the device is designed for long-term use. It comes with an optional built-in SIM card and a default IoT server connection version. The device supports a wide range of NB-IoT Bands and also supports the Modbus protocol, Interrupt uplink, and Bluetooth v5.1 remote configure and update firmware. It also features a Nano SIM card slot for an NB-IoT SIM.
