The Fathom ROV Tether (by the m) (Twisted Pairs – 4) combines robust strength and durability with superior electrical performance for diverse ROV and subsea applications. It features a polyurethane jacket for enhanced flexibility and adhesion to potting materials, and is neutrally buoyant with a 35 lb breaking strength. The tether includes water-blocking fibers to prevent leaks and is slimmer than most comparable ROV tethers. It incorporates Kevlar strands for strength and Dacron fibers for space filling, both treated with water-blocking compounds. The high-visibility yellow jacket resists abrasion and ensures neutral buoyancy, providing design flexibility and versatility.
