The Large Inductive Coil and 10 Wireless LED Kit – 24V uses electromagnetic fields and inductive coupling to pass power through the air to light up all LEDs soldered onto coils.

Inductive charging is a way of powering a device without a direct wire connection. These chargers work by taking a power transformer and splitting it in half, an AC waveform is generated into one, and couples into the second coil.

These are often used for model makers, toy designs, or displays but we think there’s a lot of potentials here for art or craft or cosplay. The coil is large, but you get about 6 inch of vertical space to work within.
