The Sherline Oversize 2-1/2″ Handwheel provides a more substantial feel and facilitates easier cranking for enhanced user experience. This handwheel maintains the same number of graduated markings as the standard 1⅝” or 2” handwheels, ensuring precision and consistency in operations. It is versatile in application, suitable for use on both lathes and mills, thereby offering flexibility in various machining tasks.

While upgrading to this larger handwheel, users may also consider the zero adjustable handwheels, which are available in 2” and 2½” diameters, to aid in precise dimension tracking. This feature can be particularly beneficial for tasks requiring meticulous attention to detail.

Note: The Oversize 2½” handwheel is not recommended for use on the lathe tailstock if oversize handwheels are used on both, as it may interfere with the leadscrew handwheel.
