The Sherline Riser 3/8″ Insert Holder Tool Post is engineered to restore the cutting tool to the lathe centerline height when a riser block is employed to elevate the headstock for machining larger diameter components. This tool post accommodates either a 3/8″ square shank insert tool holder or a 3/8″ round holder, making it versatile for various machining applications.

This riser tool post is an elevated version of Sherline’s standard height insert holder tool post, specifically designed to fit larger 3/8″ square and round holders that are frequently used with carbide or diamond-inserted tips. It is compatible with Sherline’s own 55° inserted tip tool holders, both right-hand (RH) and left-hand (LH) versions.
