The Sherline Rotary Scanner Riser Exploded View is engineered to enhance the stability of the Sherline 4-inch rotary table when utilized with a scanning plate for laser scanning of large or heavy objects. The robust base plate measures 10 inches by 10 inches and is half an inch thick, providing substantial support to prevent tipping if the object being scanned is not perfectly centered.

An additional riser block, measuring 5 1/4 inches by 4 inches, elevates the rotary table by 3/4 inch above the base plate, ensuring adequate clearance for the stepper motor. The combined height of the plates is 1/4 inch. The design includes pre-drilled holes for securely mounting the rotary table to the base plate, as well as for affixing the base plate to a stable platform, thereby enhancing security during operation.

The plates are constructed from durable aluminum and feature a resilient black anodized finish, which adds to their longevity and resistance to wear. Fastening screws are included to facilitate the assembly of the plates.
