The Waveshare 4″ RPi LCD (A), 480×320 is a compact touch screen TFT LCD specifically designed for integration with Raspberry Pi devices. It features a hardware resolution of 480×320 pixels and employs resistive touch control, making it suitable for a variety of interactive applications. The screen is directly pluggable into any revision of Raspberry Pi, ensuring seamless compatibility and ease of use.

This display supports a range of operating systems, including Raspbian, Ubuntu, and Kali, with drivers readily available to facilitate installation. Additionally, it is compatible with the FBCP software driver, which allows users to configure software resolution and set up dual-display functionality, enhancing its versatility.

When paired with a Raspberry Pi, the display enables users to take advantage of features such as touch-based photography with up to 17 camera modes and the use of a software keyboard, allowing for system interaction without the need for a physical keyboard or mouse. The display’s TFT type and SPI interface, along with its LED backlight, contribute to its vibrant color output, supporting up to 65,536 colors.
