It features a 12.3-megapixel IMX477 sensor, making it suitable for integration with Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano series boards. This camera is particularly adept at handling AI-driven tasks such as facial recognition, road mark detection, and license plate number identification, thanks to its superior image quality and expansive field of view.

The camera offers a diagonal field of view of 160 degrees, providing a broad perspective that is beneficial for capturing wide scenes. It operates at a voltage of 3.3V and requires specific drivers for compatibility with various motherboards. An additional flexible printed circuit (FPC) cable is necessary for certain Raspberry Pi models, including the Raspberry Pi 5, CM3/3+/4, and Zero series.
