The Waveshare Industrial 8-Ch Analog Acquisition Module, 12-Bit High-Precision, Supports Voltage & Current Acquisition (0~20mA) is an advanced industrial-grade device designed for precise analog data acquisition. It supports simultaneous acquisition across eight channels, utilizing a 12-bit resolution for high accuracy. This module operates on a DC power supply ranging from 7 to 36 volts and employs the Modbus RTU protocol for reliable communication. It features robust protection mechanisms, including power and magnetic isolation, a resettable fuse, and transient voltage suppressors, ensuring high reliability and strong resistance to interference. The device is equipped with configurable device addresses, allowing multiple units to be cascaded on an RS485 bus for expanded functionality.
The module’s design includes a rail-mount case for easy installation and stacking, enhancing its suitability for industrial environments. It incorporates a built-in oversampling digital filtering algorithm and an onboard watchdog to maintain stable output. The module supports both single-ended and differential inputs, with configurable ranges for voltage and current acquisition.
