The Waveshare Industrial USB to 8CH TTL Converter, USB to UART, Multi Protection Circuits, USB to TTL Adapter is designed to extend USB connectivity to eight channels of TTL (UART) with hardware flow control, enabling concurrent and independent communication for each channel. It features an onboard self-recovery fuse and protection diodes to ensure stable current and voltage outputs, providing over-current and over-voltage protection, and enhancing shock resistance. The device is equipped with a Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) to effectively suppress surge and transient spike voltages, offering lightning and ESD protection.

This converter includes a voltage translator circuit with surge suppression and ESD protection, ensuring safe and stable communication. It supports TTL serial port voltage levels of 3.3V and 5V, selectable via a switch. The robust aluminium alloy enclosure, crafted with a CNC process and oxidation dull-polish surface, ensures durability and a solid build. The device is equipped with four LEDs to indicate power and transceiver status, providing clear operational feedback.
