The Waveshare JetRacer AI Kit, AI Racing Robot Powered by Jetson Nano (not Included) is an advanced AI racing robot designed for enthusiasts and developers interested in exploring artificial intelligence and robotics. This kit is powered by the Jetson Nano, a compact yet powerful AI computer capable of delivering 472 GFLOPS, making it suitable for running modern AI algorithms efficiently. The Jetson Nano is equipped with a Cortex-A57 CPU and a 128-core Maxwell GPU, supporting a wide range of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, Keras, and MXNet, among others.

The kit offers two options for the Jetson Nano: the NVIDIA Jetson Nano Developer Kit (B01) and the Waveshare Jetson Nano Dev Kit. The NVIDIA Jetson Nano Developer Kit (B01) is the official version, featuring a variety of onboard interfaces including a 40PIN GPIO expansion header, Gigabit Ethernet port, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, and a CSI camera connector. These features make it versatile for various applications. Alternatively, the Waveshare Jetson Nano Dev Kit provides a similar performance and appearance, with the Jetson Nano B01 eMMC version module and the Waveshare JETSON-IO-BASE-A carrier board, making it more suitable for production environments.

The JetRacer AI Kit includes an 8MP HD resolution camera with a 160° field of view, AC8265 wireless NIC supporting dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2, and a differential 2WD Ackerman steering system. It is powered by a 12.6V battery setup and features dual gearmotor rear-wheel drive. The chassis is constructed from aluminum alloy, ensuring durability and stability. The kit is compatible with various program libraries such as JetBot, ROS, JetRacer, and DonkeyCar, providing a comprehensive platform for development and experimentation.

Note: The Jetson Nano Dev Kit is optional and not included in the package.
