The Waveshare PCIe to USB 3.2 Gen1 HAT for Raspberry Pi 5, 4x High Speed USB Ports, HAT + Standard enhances the connectivity of the Raspberry Pi 5 by extending its PCIe interface to four high-speed USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. This driver-free, plug-and-play device connects via a 16PIN cable, facilitating the connection of additional peripherals.
Equipped with an onboard power monitoring chip and EEPROM, it allows real-time monitoring of power status and supports USB port power control through software. The design includes a reserved airflow vent for a cooling fan, ensuring stable operation of the Raspberry Pi 5.
