The Waveshare Precision RTC Module for Raspberry Pi Pico, Onboard DS3231 Chip is a specialized expansion module designed for the Raspberry Pi Pico. It features a high precision DS3231 RTC chip and communicates via the I2C bus, allowing for seamless integration with additional external sensors due to its stackable design.

This module provides accurate timekeeping with features such as leap-year compensation valid up to the year 2100, and offers both 24-hour and 12-hour formats with an AM/PM indicator. It includes two programmable alarm clocks and is compatible with Raspberry Pi Pico series headers.
