The Waveshare RTC Battery for RPi 5, Supports Recharging, 64mAh, 2PIN JST Connector is a rechargeable battery designed to support the Raspberry Pi 5. The version RTC-BATTERY-B employs the ML2032 battery model and offers a capacity of 64 mAh.

It features a 2PIN JST connector and a cable length of 50mm.

The rated voltage for the first version is 3.6V, with a maximum voltage of 4.2V. Conversely, the second version has a rated voltage of 3V and a maximum voltage of 3.3V.

The battery’s lifespan is noteworthy; after 300 recharge and discharge cycles, the capacity remains above 80% of the initial level. This ensures a longer battery life.

The battery also comes with double-sided tape on the back, facilitating easy installation. It is designed to recharge via the Raspberry Pi 5, further enhancing its longevity and performance.
