The Actuonix External RC Control Board Ext-R for L16 Actuators is a streamlined and efficient solution for motion control applications. This in-line control board is a simplified variant of the LAC, equipped with a standard RC input and position controller, ensuring compatibility with a multitude of RC receivers. Additionally, it can be seamlessly integrated with various controllers, including those based on Raspberry Pi and Arduino platforms.
The board features position feedback-based Stall Protection, enhancing the operational safety and longevity of the actuator. An integrated adjustable potentiometer provides the flexibility to set a current limit from 0A to 1A, which is instrumental in preventing excessive force and potential overloading, thereby contributing to the extended lifespan of the actuator.
Powering the board is versatile, as it can be done through the 3-wire RC connection or by utilizing an external supply connected to the additional pins. The Actuonix RC Control Board is designed to be compatible with any P16 model. Included with the board are a one-meter RC extension cable and a piece of heat shrink to facilitate a tidy and secure installation.
