The FireBeetle 2 Board ESP32-S3 (N16R8) AIoT Microcontroller with Camera (Wi-Fi & Bluetooth on Board) is a high-performance primary controller, constructed around the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R8 module. This microcontroller is furnished with an OV2640 camera, making it highly suitable for applications that require image recognition. The ESP32-S3 module is characterized by its substantial storage capacity and a comprehensive set of communication interfaces, making it adaptable to a broad spectrum of application requirements.

The board is equipped with an OV2640 camera that provides 2 megapixels, a 68°FOV, and a resolution of up to 1600 x 1200. The ESP32-S3 chip enhances the module’s performance by accelerating neural network computing and signal processing workloads. This makes the module an optimal choice for a variety of applications, including speech recognition and image recognition.

The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-S3 supports dual-mode communication via WiFi and Bluetooth 5 (LE), simplifying the networking process. It also supports both Bluetooth Mesh protocol and Espressif WiFi Mesh, ensuring more stable communication and a larger coverage area.

This development board is designed with user-friendliness in mind, addressing the complexity of screen wiring through its onboard GDI screen interface.
