The Kitronik Arcade Class Pack is a comprehensive set designed to facilitate the creation of retro arcade games. It is equipped with the Kitronik ARCADE, a programmable gamepad that is compatible with the MakeCode Arcade block editor. This pack is designed to cater to a classroom setting, providing ten Arcade gamepads, ten USB cables, and a set of 40 batteries, all neatly packed in a reusable Gratnells tray.

The MakeCode Arcade editor, which is required for operation, is user-friendly and caters to all levels of experience, from novices to seasoned game enthusiasts. It employs a simple drag-and-drop mechanism, allowing users to snap together blocks to form programs.

The Kitronik ARCADE gamepad is meticulously designed to provide an optimal platform for running these games. It boasts a full-color LCD wide viewing angle screen, a piezo sounder for audio feedback, and a vibration motor for haptic feedback. It is equipped with six gamer input buttons, a menu button, a reset button, and an on/off switch. Additional features include a software volume control, a USB programming port, and two expansion ports for advanced users.

The gamepad can be powered by either three AA batteries or via a micro USB connector. For the more advanced users, the gamepad offers two expansion ports and a debugging port. These ports provide direct access to the microprocessor pins and allow for customization of the bootloader code.
