The Pololu DRV8834 Low-Voltage Stepper Motor Driver Carrier offers a versatile solution for driving bipolar stepper motors or two DC motors in various mechatronic applications such as toys, printers, and cameras. It features dual H-bridge drivers with N-channel power MOSFETs, capable of delivering up to 1.5-A RMS continuously and supporting peak currents of up to 2 A per bridge. The device includes internal shutdown functions for protection against overcurrent, short-circuit, undervoltage, and overtemperature conditions. Additionally, it provides a low-power sleep mode and is available in a thermally enhanced surface-mount package.
