The Rover Robotics 4WD Rover Zero Mobile Robotics Platform accelerates projects with a rugged, open source robot platform that has been successfully deployed in thousands of public safety applications (RoboteX Avatar). It uses two brushless motors attached via rubber track to achieve 4WD. Additional electronics and accessories, such as cameras, lidar, or a charging dock, can be added for further functionality.
The Rover Zero 3 is a more affordable option compared to the Rover Pro, offering similar features at a lower cost, without an IP rating. It is the ideal choice for research and development, learning intermediate to advanced robotics, or full project deployment in tough conditions.
The Rover Zero 3 offers internal charging when paired with the charging dock, making it ideal for autonomous development. Utilizing ROS1, the Rover codebase is completely open for developers. Any computer can be used, and virtually any payload design can be created, allowing for full customizability.
