Alternatively, the leadscrew can be directly inserted into a tapped hole in the component, though using the brass nut is more cost-effective for maintenance purposes.

The assembly is designed with a backlash nut and lock, allowing for the control of backlash on the leadscrew, enhancing precision in movement. The metric version of the leadscrew features a 6.3 x 1 mm thread pitch, with the handwheel offering 100 graduations, each representing 0.01 mm.
