The Sherline Saddle Travel Extension (Model 2000- & 5800-Series Mills) enhances the functionality of the mill by extending the Z-axis movement by 1.6 inches. This extension allows end mills to reach below the table surface, facilitating work on the edges of parts. It is specifically designed for compatibility with the Model 2000- and 5800-Series Mills, and is not suitable for use with the 5000 or 5400 series mills.
